Policies and Rules

The Policies Video
In Quicktime format.

Because there is more demand than equipment at CSSCR, there may be times when you will be asked to move from a piece of equipment. Reservations of rooms or equipment and other announcements will be posted periodically on our walls. Certain courses may be designated as having priority over other computer uses. The students in these courses will have the right to ask other patrons to give up their machines. Notices will be posted stating such priority schemes. E-mail/bulletin board use and word processing have the lowest priority. People needing equipment for course work or research may ask e-mail/bb users to move to room 601f Condon, where there is equipment set aside for that purpose.

No Game Playing

Because of the tremendous demand for our machines, game playing of any sort is not allowed on our equipment. This includes Internet based games.

No Food or Drink in the Machine Rooms

Because of possible damage to our equipment please refrain from eating or drinking in the computer rooms.

Laser Printer Policies

Laser printing is available to any campus user by printing to CSSCR or CSSCR_color. (Xerox & HP laser printers are in room 601f Condon.)

Black and white printing is charged $.10/page single sided and $.19/page double sided.   We offer high quality color printing at a price of $.75 per side on the color laser printer. The Campus Copy Services Dawg-Print card is used to pay for printing at CSSCR.  See more details At:
